Job Description

We are seeking Project Managers to join our expanding South East Defence Infrastructure team, supporting construction infrastructure projects across the South and nationally. The role suits Project Managers from Defence, Rail, Water/Utilities, or Highways backgrounds with proven experience and understanding of processes. NEC accreditation is preferred.

Our Project Managers handle projects of varying sizes, typically between £1m to £10m, depending on complexity, with larger projects in supporting roles.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead project management commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
• Support on major commissions, focusing on specific aspects of service delivery.
• Ensure client objectives are met, projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Assist clients in transitioning to Net Zero and enhancing sustainability.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with NEC contracts.
• Expertise in NEC/JCT/FIDIC contract administration.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written).
• Self-motivated with strategic problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders within NEC frameworks.
• Knowledge of CDM/site health and safety related to NEC contracts.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a construction-related subject.
• Chartered or qualified with ICE, APM, RICS, etc., preferred.
• Experience with NEC/FIDIC contracts preferred.

Security Clearance:

Due to project sensitivity, candidates must hold or be eligible for UK MoD security clearance and possess a British Passport.

Travel to client sites is expected to support collaborative working.
