We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Highway-related projects to join our Highways Consultancy division to support the Development Led Infrastructure team. You will provide focused delivery on major schemes in the surrounding areas. The successful candidate must have experience of Highways, Civil Engineering, and be very competent with using the NEC form of contract. This role offers the opportunity to progress your career as your experience grows within our business.

As part of our Programme and Project Management team, you'll help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with some of the best talent around. With your energy, agility, and a keen eye for detail, you'll deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.

  • Develop implementation strategies for delivery of strategic infrastructure projects
  • Work within project and financial objectives to produce plans, schedules, and track budgets
  • Management of statutory consents
  • Analyse and review data to identify key themes and trends, producing recommendations to support project decision-making
  • Identify and present project risks or issues to prevent adverse impacts
  • Review project processes and policies, providing advice to support management
  • Provide subject matter advice to support delivery and ensure policy and operational alignment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party contractors to ensure all parties are informed of project progress and expectations
  • Establish and maintain best practice systems and controls
  • Lead service delivery and strengthen client relationships
  • Represent the company professionally, meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with clients
  • Work collaboratively with clients, serving as the main communication focal point

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven Project Management experience in large residential and mixed-use developments
  • Degree in a related discipline
  • APM, MRICS, or ICE qualification
  • High proficiency with NEC form of contract
  • Knowledge of PM systems and procedures in construction
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes
