Job summary

Built Alliance Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager for high-profile, security-sensitive infrastructure projects in the UK. You will lead NEC3/NEC4 ECC and PSC contracts, overseeing Early Warnings, Compensation Events, notices and payment certification, while guiding programme delivery and commercial strategy.

You will manage contractor programmes, monitor baselines, and drive critical path analysis.

Qualifications

• Significant Project Management experience in the built environment, ideally in consultancy.
• Strong NEC (NEC4 PM) experience desirable.
• Proven programme management ability with critical path analysis and delay/EOT assessment.
• Experience delivering for defence, secure, transport or other regulated clients.
• A relevant degree with MRICS, APM or equivalent desirable.
• Eligibility for security clearance (existing SC advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager under NEC3/NEC4 ECC and PSC contracts, managing Early Warnings, Compensation Events, notices and payment certification.
• Review and accept contractor programmes, monitor progress against baseline and manage critical path risk.
• Advise clients on contractual strategy, procurement routes and commercial risk.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and change control alongside the cost management team.
• Lead and mentor project managers and assistant project managers.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders at senior level.
