Job Description

Important: Due to the sensitive nature of these projects, applicants must be SOLE UK Nationals eligible for UK MoD Security Clearance (SC). See Security Clearance Section.

We seek Project Managers to join our expanding Bristol Defence Infrastructure team, supporting construction projects across the South/South West and nationally.

Ideal candidates will have a Defence, Rail, Water/Utilities, or Highways background with proven experience and NEC accreditation preferred.

Our Project Managers handle projects typically valued between £1m and £10m, with larger projects supporting roles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Project Management commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
  • Support major commissions, managing specific aspects of service delivery.
  • Ensure client objectives are met within time, cost, and quality standards.
  • Assist clients in transitioning to Net Zero and enhancing sustainability.
  • Minimum 5 years’ NEC contract experience.
  • Expertise in NEC/JCT/FIDIC contract administration.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written).
  • Self-motivated with strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders under NEC frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CDM/site health and safety regulations related to NEC contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in infrastructure or construction-related field.
  • Chartered status or qualifications with ICE, APM, RICS preferred.

Security Clearance: Applicants must be SOLE UK Nationals eligible for UK MoD Security Clearance (SC). Many projects are subject to MoD security and trade restrictions, impacting eligibility based on nationality and residency.

Work Environment: We support hybrid working, with an expectation of approximately 60% office/site attendance, including travel, adaptable based on project needs.
