Job summary

Howco Group in Greater Manchester is seeking an NDE Inspector to perform in-house and on-site inspections using approved NDE techniques to defined standards.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings and NDT specifications, ensuring material is inspected and released with no NCRs, while assisting in managing NDE consumables and calibrated equipment and collaborating with third-party witnesses. Flexible and deadline-driven, you will support production demands.

Role Requirements

Inspection of material using approved NDE techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities

NDE inspection using approved techniques & methods of NDE to defined standards, ensuring material is inspected and released with no NCR’s.

Assist in managing NDE consumables and calibrated equipment

3rd party witness involvement.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Able to read and understand NDT specifications and procedures.

Flexible and adaptable.

Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

To perform in-house and on-site NDT techniques as required by the customer at all stages within the production route.

Ensuring material is inspected and released with no NCR’s.
