About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician for our market-leading Aerospace and Industrial Forging client in Sheffield!

You will be responsible for all aspects of non-destructive testing – ultrasonic, dye-penetrant, magnetic particle inspection and testing and visual and dimensional inspection.

You will be responsible for:
– Approving company-based UT procedures.
– Dealing with UT-based queries.
– Generating inspection certification.
– Hands-on Ultrasonic testing; die-penetrant inspection/testing; magnetic particle inspection/testing; visual and dimensional inspection.

You will be/have experience of:
– Previous aerospace industry and metals knowledge and experience.
– PCN trained & BINDT registered.
– NAS-410 qualified (aerospace).
– Level 2 Ultrasonic Qualification & experience (welding & forging).
– Level 2 Visual Inspection Qualification.
