Job Description

My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester, is looking to recruit an NDT Technician on a permanent basis. The main responsibilities associated with the role include:

  1. Carry out visual NDT inspections in line with customer requirements.
  2. Generate reports on inspection findings.
  3. Identify non-conforming parts and report quality issues.
  4. Conduct 5S and TPM activities.
  5. Support with final release inspection.
  6. Support QMS development.

As a suitable candidate, you will offer the following:

  1. Previous experience as an NDT technician or inspector.
  2. Experience of setting up and standardizing equipment.
  3. Experience of conducting system performance check-ins.
  4. Knowledge of video/borescopes for internal inspection.
  5. An ability to offer support and guidance to trainees.
  6. Level 2 or above certification in ISO9712 or EN4179 visual testing.
  7. An ability to read engineering drawings.
  8. Experience creating visual inspection data-cards.

The salary on offer is up to £35,000 and the role is Monday-Friday.
