Job Description
My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester, is looking to recruit an NDT Technician on a permanent basis. The main responsibilities associated with the role include:
- Carry out visual NDT inspections in line with customer requirements.
- Generate reports on inspection findings.
- Identify non-conforming parts and report quality issues.
- Conduct 5S and TPM activities.
- Support with final release inspection.
- Support QMS development.
As a suitable candidate, you will offer the following:
- Previous experience as an NDT technician or inspector.
- Experience of setting up and standardizing equipment.
- Experience of conducting system performance check-ins.
- Knowledge of video/borescopes for internal inspection.
- An ability to offer support and guidance to trainees.
- Level 2 or above certification in ISO9712 or EN4179 visual testing.
- An ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience creating visual inspection data-cards.
The salary on offer is up to £35,000 and the role is Monday-Friday.
