Qualifications

  • Level 1 Radiographer ASNT Certification is required.
  • Experience in similar NDT roles is needed.
  • Must be proficient in using a digital x-ray system.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiography using Digital Radiography and CT.
  • Conduct Leak Testing using a mass spectrometer.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills

The NDT Radiographer Role

As an NDT Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of assemblies and components that will save lives worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing radiography using DR (Digital Radiography) and CT (Computed Tomography) to detect anomalies and incorrect assembly of components/Assemblies.
  • Conducting Leak Testing - Measuring the rate of escapement of helium from cartridges using a mass spectrometer.
  • Conforming to Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Explosive Safety, Audits and Procedures.
  • Creating and driving a culture of continuous improvement using the 5S process.
  • Collaborating with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to overcome technical issues.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this NDT Radiographer role will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Level 1 Radiographer ASNT Certification
  • Experience in similar NDT roles
  • Proficiency in using a digital x-ray system
  • Experience in self-inspection
  • Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and relevant documentation
  • Understanding and interpretation of relevant test ATPs, QAI and relevant x-ray techniques
  • Qualified to NAS410
