Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, Weld/Structural Engineer Degree or equivalent
• 10 years of management experience in Weld, Brazing, and NDT Programs
• Experience in preparing Welding, Brazing, and NDT procedures
• Experience with NDT training and qualification programs
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Welding, Brazing, and Non-Destructive Testing
• 5 years of waterfront Weld/Braze/NDT Program Management
• 5 years of SUBSAFE/DSS-SOC experience
• NDT Level III Examiner Certification for VT, PT, MT, and UT processes
• NBPI or NACE Level I or higher inspector certification

Responsibilities:

• Reports to QA Director for all assignments and supervision
• Administers and oversees the Welder, Brazer, and NDT training programs
• Responsible for management of the Welding/Brazing/NDT Programs
• Oversees and approves quality standards for structural and pipe materials, including receiving, in-process, and final inspection
• Inspects and monitors work performed on government and commercial work items
• Performs internal audits to ensure compliance with company procedures and external audits to evaluate supplier suitability
