Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) seeks an experienced NDT Inspector at Rosyth to conduct MT, PT and UT inspections across complex marine and defence projects. The role requires PCN Level 2 MT/PT/UT, a relevant engineering apprenticeship or equivalent, and a strong commitment to safety and quality in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out nondestructive testing in heavy engineering or marine environments.
• Strong knowledge of MT, PT and UT methods.
• Experience inspecting welded fabrications and components.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and procedures.
• Proven ability to produce inspection reports.
• Commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out NDT inspections across projects in Rosyth Dockyard.
• Perform MT, PT, and UT inspections.
• Interpret results against specifications and codes and document findings.
• Prepare inspection reports and certification documents.
• Collaborate with quality, welding, fabrication and engineering teams.
• Support continuous improvement and quality assurance across the dockyard.
