TXM Recruit are looking for an NDT Engineer/Tester on a permanent basis to work for an engineering company in Milton Keynes.

The salary for the role depends on experience but ranges from £35,000 to £39,900 per annum for day shifts (6am-2pm), Monday to Friday.

Position Summary:

The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Tester is responsible for performing tests to examine the properties of materials, components, or assemblies without causing damage. The role involves using various NDT methods to detect defects, ensure quality, and comply with safety standards.

Person Profile/Experience:
  • NDT (Required) and Fabrication Experience (Desired)
  • Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment (Desired)
  • Good attitude and flexibility
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and interpreting results
  • Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:

Certification in one or more NDT methods (e.g., ASNT Level I/II, ISO 9712) is highly desirable.
