Job summary

TÜV Rheinland Solutions is seeking experienced NDT Engineers with pressure systems knowledge for our Asset Integrity Management team based in Derby, UK. You will inspect plant components, coordinate outage inspections, and produce high-quality reports for clients in the power and clean energy sectors.

The role involves travel within the UK and abroad, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements and a strong emphasis on professional development and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Good practical experience inspecting plant components, especially steam and water pressure parts.
• Understanding of damage/degradation mechanisms on inspected components.
• Experience in conventional power or clean energy sectors (CCGT, Biomass, Energy from Waste).
• Advantage: ultrasonic testing of branch connections; coordinating outage inspections and liaising with clients.

Responsibilities

• Site visits to carry out plant inspections.
• Coordinate/supervise inspection activities on outages.
• Produce high-quality inspection reports and review/authorize reports.
• Estimate and manage project costs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards and equipment usage.
• Travel within the UK and abroad as required.
