Job Title: NDT Assistant Technician

Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset

Rotation

2 weeks on 2 weeks off

Start Date - September 2025

Main Purpose

The NDT Assistant Technician assists NDT trades operatives and patrols barriers to ensure safety and efficiency, following company procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist inspection operatives, familiar with manual handling and safety processes.
• Work to company and client standards with good workmanship.
• Adhere to relevant procedures and handle materials and equipment properly.
• Assist radiography team with erection of radiation barriers.
• Patrol controlled areas, restrict access, and communicate with radiography team.
• Be aware of permits and hazards related to tasks.
• Participate in briefings and risk assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Experience & Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Teamwork and cooperation skills.
• CCNSG Safety Passport (desirable, training provided).
• Hinkley Support Operative (HSO) Bronze (desirable, training provided).
• Experience on construction/nuclear sites (desirable).
• Willingness to attend onsite training.
