Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced NDE Engineer to act as the focal point for all NDE matters within SEITL. You will perform non-destructive evaluations, support inspection staff, and contribute to process development and new system introductions to ensure quality outputs.

You will actively engage with Quality Management and core manufacturing teams, drive improvements, and participate in supplier investigations when needed. A strong background in NDE methods is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Quality or related manufacturing area.
• Qualifications in liquid penetrant inspection, magnetic particle inspection, computed radiographic inspection; training can be provided.
• ONC/HNC or a graduate degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out non-destructive evaluations and facilitate inspection personnel across the organisation.
• Deliver NDT/NDE testing including radiographic, magnetic particle and penetrant testing as required.
• Liaise with Quality Management and production groups to report issues and drive process improvements.
• Attend group meetings to understand production programs and priorities.
• Support investigations at suppliers when necessary.
