Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections, interpret findings, and report results in accordance with company requirements.
  • Use Rope Access techniques (per IRATA standards) to access elevated or confined locations.
  • Perform NDE testing on weld, pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, and other infrastructure.
  • Generate NDE and inspection reports.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by strictly following safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Perform assigned duties in line with MISTRAS’ core values and procedures.
  • Ensure NDE certification is up to date (CGSB UT2, MT2, PT2, Etc.).
  • Carry out inspections within your certification scope.

Qualifications

  • CGSB certified in one or more NDE methods.
  • IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 - or interested in completing an IRATA Level 1 course.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic computer systems.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain focus, and multitask efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel to site.
  • Must submit a valid driver’s license, a 3-year driving abstract, and pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test prior to site access.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights
