Summary of role

As the NCS Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of each Community Experience. You will lead and inspire cohorts of young people aged 16 to 17. You will be responsible for delivering Employability, Life Skills, and Social Action sessions, as well as coordinating programmes.

This is a fulfilling and challenging role where you will make a real impact on the lives of young people. You need prior experience working with young people and in programme coordination and delivery. You will support and work closely with existing Groundwork provisions, including staff in schools, colleges, and other local youth services. The Youth Project Manager and the Team Leader will assist with coordination and delivery of NCS. This role is rewarding and demanding, suitable for those enthusiastic about youth work, delivering impactful programmes, providing pastoral support, and reporting safeguarding concerns to your Team Leader.
