nCino Technical Product Manager


Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented nCino Technical Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with vendors, architects, technology and our business partners to manage the full application lifecycle around nCino as it relates to Commercial Banking, delivering new or enhanced capabilities that enhance customer experience and drive operational efficiency, administering the platform and owning resolution of any technical issues that may arise. The person in this role will play a critical role in ensuring nCino and any related integrated products align with risk, compliance and regulatory guidelines.



Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Product and Vendor Management



  • Manage nCino vendor relationship related to production stability, compliance oversight, release planning, prioritization of bank driven enhancements, changes to vendor components and net-new services.

  • Participate as a key stakeholder in nCino steering committee to foster close relationships with executives and business users, address and prioritize pain points and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with vendor, business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, create projects, objectives and timelines.

  • Participate in business process mapping and identification of opportunities for process improvements and platform enhancements.

  • Partner with the business to refine business process and data validation rules to comply with data governance best practices.

  • Drive design sessions and define scalable solutions that align to business goals.

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of system changes.

  • Assess the scope and planning for business testing and QA required by the bank for all nCino and relevant core banking or integrated upstream or downstream product releases.

  • Provide consolidated roadmap of bank, vendor and regulatory driven enhancements to the nCino platform and integrated upstream and downstream systems.

  • Provide planning for business/disaster recovery testing, change freezes and year end processing.



Platform Development Ops



  • Drive maturity in Agile development processes, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

  • Collaborate on efficient code merging, deployment, branching, CI/CD, and automated functional testing strategies.

  • Oversee controls, security, and enable best practices in development and data integration related to Salesforce, nCino, core banking platforms, and other 3rd party products.



Reporting, Risk, Compliance and Regulatory Oversight



  • Generate management reports on system release status, production stability, and incident resolutions.

  • Provide insights into SLAs, workflow cycle times, bottlenecks and turnaround times to define enhancements and streamline processes.

  • Contribute to quarterly or biannual business reviews with the vendor and business teams.

  • Support regulatory, risk and audit processes by providing necessary data and documentation and driving issue remediation where necessary.



Production Stability



  • Liaise with nCino vendor and internal technical resources for updates, support, and issue resolution.

  • Advocate on behalf of the business on impact, recovery, severity and closure of production outage and incident root cause analysis.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve system errors, transaction failures, and user concerns.

  • Coordinate investigation and resolution of system or data load performance issues or bottlenecks.

  • Administer and troubleshoot to resolve system issues, optimizing configurations for better performance and scalability.



Requirements:


Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar


Financial services industry experience with history of successfully navigating a highly regulated and matrixed environment.


5-7 years of experience managing Salesforce and nCino lifecycle activities with focus on banking operations, commercial banking and loan origination.


nCino Commercial Bank (nCino 201 and 301) certifications preferred.


Salesforce Platform Developer certification preferred.


Experience with Salesforce and nCino system and data integration technologies.


Experience enabling Agile practices, DevOps, CI/CD, automated functional testing.


Strong background in managing or implementing banking platforms and working to align banking business operations with technology solutions.


Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams, business stakeholders and vendors.
