Optima UK Inc Ltd in Nottinghamshire is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering business.

You will program, support and develop CNC machining processes across 3-, 4- and 5-axis works, working closely with the production team to meet tight tolerances and high-integrity standards.

This permanent role offers an attractive salary circa £40,000+ depending on experience, with overtime, 25 days’ holiday and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

Strong CNC programming experience.
Experience with offline and online programming.
Good CNC setting and machining knowledge.
Experience with 3-, 4- or 5-axis machining.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong understanding of precision machining and quality requirements.
Experience producing complex components to demanding tolerances.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work.
Proactive and supportive approach to teamwork.
Experience in nuclear, defence, aerospace, oil and gas, or similar high-integrity environments would be advantageous.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am-1:30pm

The Role
