Job summary

MBDA is recruiting for a 10-week Navigation Electronic Warfare Engineer placement in the UK. You’ll work on navigation sensors design, testing equipment and collaborating with suppliers and researchers.

You may be based at Stevenage or Bristol and will work on-site five days each week, with potential for a graduate role after completion. The role offers a salary of £24,460 pro-rata, a pension scheme with up to 14% total employer/employee contributions, paid overtime where applicable and 5 days

Qualifications

• Undergraduate working towards a degree in physics, maths, electronics or engineering.
• Security clearance: BPSS checks required.

Responsibilities

• Support tests and trials to evaluate navigation equipment performance.
• Hands-on research and design activities for next-gen navigation gear.
• Monitor supplier and tech developments for future navigation tech.
• Collaborate with suppliers and researchers on new hardware.
• Investigate engineering problems and perform rapid analyses.
