Job summary

You will develop FE models, correlate with test data, support governance and compliance, and contribute to design improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Structural, Aerospace, or Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in structural dynamics, shock physics or vibroacoustic analysis.
• Experience with ANSYS, Abaqus or similar FE software.
• Eligible for UK security clearance.
• Excellent reporting and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Perform dynamic simulations including shock, vibration, modal, acoustic and structural dynamics analysis.
• Develop and maintain FE models for naval platforms and related systems.
• Translate requirements into design constraints for equipment and systems.
• Correlate simulation with test data and prepare compliance evidence.
• Contribute to design improvements and develop engineering guidelines.
• Share technical expertise and support cross-functional teams.
• Support planning, risk management and QEHS/compliance requirements.
