Job summary

Babcock is offering an Engineering Undergraduate Placement Year located at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth. You will work hands-on on real naval technology projects and gain experience across technical engineering, project management, and production teams.

Starting September 2027, the placement provides exposure to design, safety, and facilities management roles while supporting MOD and Royal Navy. It is a pathway toward future graduate opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be studying a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) based degree.
• Security clearance eligibility: BPSS and Security Check (SC) required for programme.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with naval technology projects at Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management and production teams across departments.
