Job summary

Expleo is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our marine engineering capability in the Preston area. You will perform detail design activities, create 3D models and 2D drawings, and work with cross-functional teams to meet standards and client requirements.

The role involves participation in customer reviews and handling design changes within a multidisciplinary environment. Candidates should have an HNC/HND or equivalent, with training or apprenticeship experience, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Experience with detail design in naval or marine projects.
• Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD and engineering design standards.

Responsibilities

• Embodiment of detail design activities per customer processes.
• Produce 3D models, 2D drawings and tasking.
• Address complex engineering tasks with supervision from senior engineers.
• Ensure design deliverables are on time and within budget.
• Assist with maintaining and improving quality standards.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in reviews.
• Support Engineering Change embodiment.
