Job summary

LR Naval requires an experienced maritime professional to coordinate certification activities for QE Class Carriers, Type 45 Destroyers and other vessels, delivering expert advisory support to the client.

You will engage with COM teams, manage surveys, and ensure secure, compliant outcomes while building strong client relationships at HMNB Portsmouth. Eligibility for UK SV clearance and waterfront collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant surveying experience and ability to apply project-management in a client-facing environment.
• Ability to provide trusted, specialist advice on classification surveys, repairs, and alterations.
• Eligible for UK SV security clearance and able to work at HMNB Portsmouth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage certification activities for QE Class Aircraft Carriers, Type 45 Destroyers and other vessels.
• Provide specialist advice to the client on classification surveys, repairs and alterations.
• Attend client meetings with prime contractors and guide the client as required.
