Job summary

MHR Recruitment are recruiting experienced Scaffolders for an ongoing role at Plymouth Naval Base. You will erect, modify and dismantle scaffolding to provide safe access for various trades within a busy naval environment.

Roles include building access platforms and towers, scaffolding around vessels, and adapting structures as needed. Excellent safety awareness and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• CISRS Scaffolding qualification required (Part 1, Part 2 or Advanced).
• Experience in industrial or commercial scaffolding preferred.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and reliable work ethic.
• Qualifications and certifications must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures safely and efficiently
• Building access scaffolds, working platforms, towers and temporary structures
• Installing scaffold around vessels, buildings, pipework, machinery and other industrial areas
• Modifying and adapting existing scaffolds as required
• Working to site instructions, drawings and relevant scaffold specifications
• Carrying out visual checks and reporting any defects or safety concerns
• Working safely alongside other trades and site personnel
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all site, health & safety and naval base security procedures
