Job summary

Navantia UK is recruiting a Time-served scaffolder to join our on-site teams in the United Kingdom. You will work on safe, compliant scaffolding installations and site duties.

The role requires reading technical plans, performing inspections, updating records, and collaborating with supervisors, clients and inspectors to maintain high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Time served scaffolder with industrial / scaffolding experience.
• CSCS or CISRS registered (Part 1 & 2).
• Ability to read technical plans and scaffolding diagrams.
• Ability to write handover sheets and update weekly/annual records.

Responsibilities

• Assemble scaffolding frames, tubes, boards, guardrail, toe boards, and safety nets following design plans and safety standards
• Frequently inspect the structure (before use, weekly, and after adverse weather) to ensure safety and make repairs as needed .
• Check and prepare the area, set base plates, install ties, and ensure environmental and PPE compliance
• Complete site documentation and collaborate with supervisors, clients, and inspectors
• Plan design basic scaffolding frames, tubes, boards, guardrail, toe boards to nationally recognized standard

Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Assemble scaffolding frames, tubes, boards, guardrail, toe boards, and safety nets following design plans and safety standards

• Support the company in maintaining and improving our ISO 9001 (quality), 14001 (environmental), 45001 (health and safety) standards through adherence to the H&W Management Systems this is the responsibility of all H&W employees when conducting all processes and activities.
