Job description

Nature Coordinator Needed in Colwyn Bay

The rate is £16.37 per hour (PAYE).

This is a temporary role.

The reference number is: RQ1516760.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the Local Places for Nature Project by:

  • Coordinating the creation and enhancement of natural capital.
  • Engaging communities, businesses, public bodies, and others in local activities that promote nature recovery, wellbeing, green infrastructure, and carbon reduction.

They will also:

  • Be an active partner in Bionet, the North East Wales Local Nature Partnership (LNP).
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of the NE Wales Nature Recovery Action Plan with cross-sector support, aligned with national objectives.
  • Work jointly with colleagues from other council areas, the Bionet coordinator, and NGO partners.
