Job summary

The Staffing Network Limited is actively recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join a busy nationwide delivery operation. You will handle timber-related loads using curtain-side and flatbed trailers across the UK, with emphasis on safe securing and efficient multi-drop routes.

Expect 48 hours per week with overtime and a night-out allowance. Immediate start available for reliable applicants who can work across urban and rural routes, including London deliveries.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence (Category C+E) required.
• Experience with strapping and securing loads.
• Experience with curtain-side and flatbed trailers.
• Immediate availability or short notice obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide Class 1 deliveries.
• Multi-drop delivery work across UK.
• Deliver to builders' merchants and customer sites.
• Carry out appropriate vehicle and load safety checks.
