JDR Recruitment are seeking a reliable Class 2 Tramper Driver for a permanent role based in Magor, South Wales. The position involves nationwide deliveries with regular nights away from home.

The role offers full-time hours, a competitive hourly rate of £15.00 and a £26.20 night-out allowance, with a view to securing a long-term position for the right candidate. You will need a Class 2 licence, CPC and tachograph card, and you must be comfortable with nights away.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Minimum 6 months' HGV driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Comfortable with regular nights away from home.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle on nationwide deliveries.
• Completing deliveries safely and on time.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Completing all required delivery paperwork.
• Complying with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers.
