To be successful as the National Youth Scout at City Football Group, you will be responsible for identifying and recruiting U13-U16 high potential players within the UK for MCFC Academy.

This is Your City

Your Impact

  • Create a short-list and evidenced recommendation of U13-U16 national talent to sign.
  • Ensure effective profiling and due-diligence to inform 360 review of target players.
  • Market intelligence gathering to support recruitment of U13-U16 talent.
  • Attendance of games/coverage by video, compiles scouting reports to present/share updates on a weekly basis
  • Cross-checking support to short-list U13-U16 talent

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in talent identification/scouting.
  • Established knowledge of U13-U16 UK Market.
  • Continuous appetite to learning and open minded.
  • Versatile and adaptable, flexibility across various working patterns.
  • Utilisation of data and insights.
  • Experience working within other sections of football (coaching, analysis, senior).
