Job description

Copart is currently recruiting a National Transport Planner to work as part of our team, based at our office in Bedford.

The National Transport Planner is responsible for managing the efficient day-to-day routing of all Copart’s collections, deliveries, and returns for the entire national fleet of Transporters and the network of sub-contractors.

You will review and improve fleet productivity at optimal costs, ensuring customer SLA’s are met or exceeded, while maintaining high standards of customer service for both external and internal clients.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Schedule daily routes cost-effectively using PTV Route Optimiser.
• Create reports to analyze and improve collection and delivery performance.
• Maintain routing software settings for optimal performance.
• Achieve and surpass internal KPI targets.
• Engage with subcontractors and yards to uphold performance standards.
• Provide monthly reports on MPM, fleet productivity, driver and sub-haul usage, and costs.

Essential Attributes

• Experience in route planning with routing software.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel report creation experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPI targets.
