National Teaching Assistant Programme (Full-time/Part-time, Temporary)

Vision For Education offers this bespoke opportunity to support passionate individuals entering the education sector. We collaborate with client schools to provide successful Trainee Teaching Assistants with high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience. This programme is suitable for candidates without prior experience working with children or a childcare/teaching assistant qualification but eager to enter the classroom.
Programme details:
After a successful interview and upon passing safeguarding and identity checks, we will secure a paid placement in a school to develop your skills. We will assist you in establishing your identity as an educator and help you choose your specialist area, such as EYFS, KS1, KS2, secondary school, or SEND provision.
Before starting your placement, you will complete comprehensive training delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, equipping you with essential skills to work as a Teaching Assistant.
Teaching Assistants play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of schools. Effective Teaching Assistants possess excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting children's daily needs. They build relationships with staff, children, and families.
The role varies by school. You may support teachers during whole-class lessons, run small group interventions, or work on a 1:1 basis to meet individual children's needs and help them thrive.
