Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking experienced governance-focused project professionals to lead and deliver complex programmes across national security and government sectors.

The role involves end-to-end delivery, stakeholder engagement, and working within secure environments on customer sites. You will navigate multi-stakeholder initiatives, maintain integrity and accountability, and travel as required to meet programme needs. Active eDV clearance is a prerequisite.

Qualifications

• Active Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance required at time of application.
• Experience in Defence, Intelligence, Government or National Security environments is advantageous.
• Candidates should expect to work on customer sites for a minimum of four days per week.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential.
• Collaborative and delivery-focused approach in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Support Amentum's UK National Security business across project delivery, engineering, architecture, and business transformation
• Deliver complex digital, engineering, and business transformation programmes across government
• Contribute throughout the full project lifecycle
• Work within multidisciplinary teams in highly secure environments
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders on complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Support projects of national importance that protect and enhance UK sovereign capability
• Undertake hands-on delivery work on customer sites
• Adapt to complex government environments and deliver high-quality outcomes
• Travel as required by programme needs

Requirements

• Experience in one or more of: Project Management, Programme Management, PMO, Project Delivery, Systems Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysis, or Business Change & Communications
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Collaborative and delivery-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively in complex and fast-paced environments
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Commitment to integrity, accountability, and professional excellence
• Active Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance required at the time of application
• Experience within Defence, Intelligence, Government, or National Security environments is advantageous but not essential
