Job summary

Forward Role Recruitment is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for National Security projects with hybrid/secure-site options across key UK hubs. The role targets engineers capable of moving from research to production, collaborating with specialist teams, and applying ML at scale in security contexts.

You will work across Python and modern ML frameworks, including LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, deployment, monitoring and lifecycle tooling, in environments that value technical edge and stakeholder

Responsibilities

• Research, rapid prototyping, productionisation and deployment into challenging National Security environments.
• Engage in ML research, algorithm development and rapid prototyping for real customer problems.
• Translate emerging research into practical solutions with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Work with Python and ML frameworks to build end-to-end ML pipelines and deployments.
