Job summary

Faculty is seeking an Associate within the National Security Team to scope, build and deliver impactful AI projects for clients. You will build trusted client relationships, analyse requirements and feedback, and help ensure bespoke AI tools are optimised for real-world operations.

This role provides a path to deepen knowledge of AI transformation in the National Security sector, with opportunities to work on high‑stakes missions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking with ability to clearly communicate ideas.
• External client-facing experience building trusted relationships.
• Experience working with technical teams.
• Understanding of Agile and iterative development.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual work streams to support delivery of bespoke AI solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand mission challenges and user needs.
• Conduct open‑source analysis to support AI tooling development.
• Translate complex operational requirements into clear user stories for delivery and engineering teams.
• Design and test workflows enabling user-centric decision-making in high-stakes environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure projects run smoothly and meet customer needs.
• Contribute to internal thought leadership, strategy, and capability development.
