Our client in Cambridge is looking for a Sales Representative with past experience in sales of food products to join their team in a full-time permanent role!

As a Food Products Sales Rep, you will spearhead the promotion and selling of food products to businesses and retailers. Responsibilities encompass negotiating contracts, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the food industry, with bakery experience an asset, and a solid understanding of the US and Canadian markets.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a sales representative in the food industry (ideally bakery products)

  • Understanding of market trends and customer needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and logistics to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company.
