We are transforming internally to develop innovative approaches for our healthcare customers. You will lead and develop our sales team for the Advanced Wound Care (AWC) business unit across four regions in the UK&I, fostering a high-energy, performance-driven culture and aligning team efforts with strategic goals.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a top-tier in-field commercial function with a candidate possessing the right energy and experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Engage your team in Convatec’s mission and global transformation
  2. Inspire a culture of sales excellence and overachievement
  3. Communicate clearly across all levels of the sales organization
  4. Grow the AWC business by prioritizing strategic opportunities
  5. Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Contracting to align commercial strategies
  6. Promote talent development within the team
  7. Drive upskilling in sales force effectiveness, business planning, and CRM use
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, clinical, and commercial units
  9. Ensure team members have clear goals, KPIs, and resources for success
  10. Develop incentive schemes to reward growth initiatives
  11. Contribute to UKI AWC leadership, providing insights and shaping future strategies

Skills & Experience:

  1. Essential: Proven sales leadership in primary care, with experience building and leading high-performing teams. Energetic, inspiring leadership style, excellent communication, and collaborative skills.
  2. Desirable: Second-line leadership experience, wound care expertise.

Principal Contacts:

  • Internal: Sales management, healthcare development managers, account managers, clinical strategy, marketing, finance, commercial director, SFE, strategic partnerships
  • External: TVNs, KOLs, hospital directors, finance directors, procurement, GP federations, commissioners, medicines managers, ICBs

Working/Travel Requirements:

Travel within UKI and to national offices, approximately 50% of the time. Field-based role.
