National Sales Manager

Location: Manchester Area/ North UK due to local key client locations.

Salary: 70,000 to 75,000 per year + Quarterly Commission + annual bonus

Company: Solar Module manufacturer established over 30 years ago who are not only recognised for their manufacturing capabilities but also a brand who invests in R&D initiatives. Their core offerings cover sales of Solar Panels, Cells and Battery Storage along with provision of equipment they also offer EPC, Project Financing, Development and Maintenance services. The company currently has presence across 6 continents and have been rapidly expanding across US and Europe over past few years, along with the growth of their core brand they have created a subsidiary brand over 5 years ago who purely focuses on manufacturing PV energy storage batteries tailored for C&I and Utility scale projects. With the recent creation of the subsidiary and ramping up the Battery manufacturing activities they are now looking to hire a Sales Manager who will focus on growing their BESS Business across UK.

Responsibilities:
  1. Development of strategies for market growth and achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals in the UK PV sector, focusing on acquiring C&I and Utility customers.
  2. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to promote expansion.
  3. Collaboration with developers, subcontractors, equipment suppliers, and site-specific construction providers to create cost-effective solutions for presentation to the customer.
  4. Provide comprehensive reports on sales activities, including records of sales, revenue, and expenses.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of B2B experience in selling one or more of the following products: solar modules, solar cells, PV batteries, storage solutions, mounting systems, or solar trackers.
  2. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to find and provide tailored solutions for different customer requirements.
