Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of material handling equipment to recruit a new National Sales Manager for their racking & storage division across the UK. This role offers excellent long-term opportunities and is suitable for an experienced racking or warehouse automation specialist seeking career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new opportunities for racking and storage solutions, supporting the company's sales channels.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high service levels and satisfaction.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities, translating insights into strategies.
• Collaborate with the solutions team to align goals, ensure cohesive delivery, and contribute to business success.
• Design and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets within the segment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven experience with large projects and tenders in pallet racking sales, confidence in leading meetings, and expertise in racking and storage solutions. CAD design experience is highly preferred. The role requires nationwide travel, with occasional trips to Europe (up to once per quarter). You can be based anywhere in the UK.
