Job summary

The Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a capable Capability Officer on a fixed-term secondment for up to 12 months. The role delivers the agreement between the National Resilience Lead Authority and Home Office to assure, maintain and coordinate national assets for MTA specialist response.

• Manage the successful delivery of objectives agreed between Home Office and the Lead Authority.
• Support any National Resilience (NR) response to operational incidents as required in accordance with NCAF.
• Attend operational incidents in support of NCAF as directed and in accordance with the National Resilience duty rota.
