A national health service organization is seeking an Office Manager to coordinate administrative functions at its National Referral Centre in Liverpool. The role requires strong organizational skills, autonomy, and a commitment to quality service delivery. Responsibilities include interfacing with multiple departments and maintaining high governance standards. The ideal candidate should have a degree or equivalent experience in administration and a good knowledge of Microsoft systems.

Our National Referral Centre (NRC) is an integral part of our service that coordinates the donations we receive from our generous donors for our Tissue and Eye services. We are currently looking for an Office Manager to be based at our NRC and help coordinate this 7 days a week centre.
The appointed individual will be required to work closely with the Head of Service Delivery, NRC Manager and Deputy Managers and will be responsible for the team's administrative staff and the service they provide. There will be considerable autonomy and responsibility for specific service areas.
You will also continually develop and maintain high standards of quality, governance, training and performance within the NRC administrative team. The post-holder must exercise a high degree of independent judgement and initiative, be able to work under pressure and prioritise their own workload.
To act as an interface between the NRC, other departments/directorates within NHSBT, the wider NHS, external agencies and other appropriate individuals. Working hours will be on a rota basis covering 7 days per week, including Bank Holidays.
