National Ready-Mix Performance Manager

Are you a dedicated Performance Manager looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation? At Tarmac, we're seeking a National Ready-Mix Performance Manager to join our team. You will develop and lead performance initiatives across Tarmac's UK Ready-Mix business to improve EBITDA and enhance the wider value chain contribution.

About The Role

As a National Ready-Mix Performance Manager, you will provide guidance and direction through coaching and facilitating continuous improvement mindsets and behaviours among management teams. You will lead and deliver business-wide continuous improvement and asset optimisation projects, and help develop both short- and long-term strategies for the UK Ready-Mix business across all areas.

We are looking for candidates with current or previous experience in Ready-Mix & Concrete, specifically within the construction industry. You should understand how a Ready-Mix plant operates and have relevant production experience.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Engaging with all levels of the business to identify improvement opportunities, champion, and implement national initiatives, ensuring the use of Continuous Improvement tools.
2. Identifying and implementing specific lean projects.
3. Working on the delivery of targeted projects and recommendations for efficiency improvements, and implementing sustainable changes within regional businesses.
4. Updating regional teams on current performance versus targets.
5. Promoting data-driven performance discussions within management, coaching and facilitating dashboard reviews at all levels.
6. Providing technical guidance to Regional Management on appropriate tools and techniques.
7. Working closely with regional teams using a coaching style to ensure leadership behaviours are exhibited.
8. Maintaining awareness of current best practices in development and application.
