Job summary

Vertu Motors plc is seeking a highly professional Project Manager to lead construction and refurbishment projects across its network of over 200 dealerships. The role involves end-to-end delivery from tender through handover, with regular travel nationwide and occasional overnight stays.

You will report to the Group Property Development Director from the Gateshead HQ, bringing a solid background in project management, quantity surveying, or building surveying, and a proven track record of

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ post-graduate experience in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Building Surveying.
• Track record delivering retail or commercial property projects on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of building contracts and construction specifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of construction projects from tender through to handover and occupation.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Manage refurbishment, construction, and small works across the dealership network.
• Oversee project compliance with relevant British Standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate delivery with internal teams and external contractors.
