I-Help Disability Services and Gratitude In-Home Care are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations / Compliance Manager to join our team.

You will ensure the highest standards of care and compliance, drive operational efficiency, and foster a positive and supportive workplace culture. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for making a difference in the lives of people with living disabilities / Age care.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures per NDIS & Aged Care standards and regulations.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, families, and NDIS representatives, to ensure tailored and responsive service provision.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the NDIS Aged Care framework.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow and enhance both services in Victoria.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including budget management, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement in service delivery and compliance with the Aged Care & NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
  • Oversee the investigation of non-compliance issues and implement corrective action plans.
  • Lead staff in understanding and adhering to Aged Care & NDIS regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality assurance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Monitor and analyse quality performance data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on quality management activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality is embedded across all aspects of service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Aged Care & NDIS standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Allocate resources effectively to support both quality assurance and operational activities.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address operational concerns and ensure service satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience :
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Services, or a related field and relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in senior management roles within the healthcare, disability, or aged care sectors, with a strong understanding of NDIS funding models, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Commitment to quality, compliance, and customer service excellence, with a passion for improving outcomes and positively impacting the lives of clients and their families.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the NDIS or healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong autonomous research skills and experience in information gathering and networking.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate, professional, and current records and written reports.
  • In-depth understanding of the NDIS and National Standards for Disability Services and contemporary disability approaches.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
  • Ability to explain complex matters clearly to diverse audiences, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-level organisational, time management, and planning skills, with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Excellent listening, diplomacy, conflict resolution, patience, empathy, and stress management abilities.
  • Initiative and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to think creatively, work independently, and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
