Job summary
NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a Lead Nurse for Clinical and Professional Development to provide national leadership for clinical education and workforce development across Blood Donation. You will lead the quality assurance of education and training for Registered Nurses and Donor Carers, translating professional requirements into effective learning and using data to continually improve programmes.

Qualifications
- Provide national leadership for clinical education and workforce development across Blood Donation.
- Lead quality assurance of education and training for Registered Nurses and Donor Carers.
- Translate professional and regulatory requirements into effective learning programs.
Responsibilities
- Co-design and implement clinical education and workforce development strategy.
- Provide nursing leadership in revalidation, practice development and professional investigations.
- Monitor KPIs, feedback, incidents and risks to identify improvements.
- Build partnerships with universities, regulators and external organisations.
- Lead audits, research, evaluation and innovation to improve education and practice.
