Job summary

Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking a part-time, fixed-term coordinator for the Reaching Wider Project. You will recruit, deliver and promote a national mentoring programme for the 2026-2027 academic year, using an existing online platform and working within the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and Communications.

The role requires education to 2 AS Levels / 1 A level or NVQ4, a relevant professional qualification, and demonstrated outreach mentoring experience.

Qualifications

• Educated to 2 AS Levels or 1 A level or NVQ level 4 in a relevant subject area.
• Hold a professional qualification or accreditation relevant to the role.
• Experience of outreach engagement and/or mentoring programmes with Reaching Wider target cohorts in an educational context.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, deliver and promote a national mentoring programme for the academic year 2026-2027.
• Work on the online mentoring platform to support delivery.
• Commence as soon as possible; post available until 31/07/2027.
