Job summary

DPD is seeking a delivery driver to join our national transport team, moving bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers across the country. You will manage trailer swaps, supervise live loading/unloading, and keep the network moving with safe driving and professional service.

Applicants must hold UK Class 1 (CE) licence, CPC, and digital tachograph card, plus at least 6 months Class 1 experience. A safety-first mindset and strong knowledge of UK roads are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• Resourceful problem-solver who can work under pressure and hit deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers across the country.
• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on HGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers nationwide.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
