DPD is seeking a professional HGV driver to join our national transport team. You will move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers, performing nationwide collections and deliveries with focus on safe, timely, and compliant operations.

You will manage trailer swaps, live loading/unloading, and use GPS/digital tachographs to maintain route efficiency. A safety-first mindset and strong knowledge of UK roads are essential.

Formación

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver great service.

Responsabilidades

• Move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers nationwide.
• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on HGV-friendly routes.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to stay compliant and on schedule.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers nationwide.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
