Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Business Development Manager for Glass Products to cover the national market from within 2 hours of Liverpool. The role offers £40,000-£50,000 plus a commission structure, car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will deliver external sales of processed and manufactured glass products, targeting contractors, shop-fitters, manufacturers, fit-out contractors, main contractors, architects and interior designers across retail, hospitality, healthcare,

Qualifications

• Must have a proven track record in business development, technical sales or account management.
• Must have experience selling within the glass, glazing, fenestration or building products manufacturing sectors.
• Commercially astute, professional and organised.
• Self-motivated with genuine desire and drive.
• Must have experience using a CRM system.
• Looking for longevity and an opportunity to progress.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• External sales position selling a range of processed and manufactured glass products & packages
• Sell to contractors, shop fitting companies, manufacturers, fit‑out contractors, main contractors, architects and interior designers
• Cover office fit‑outs, retail developments, hospitality, healthcare, education, residential and heritage sectors
• Proactively identify and secure new project opportunities whilst developing existing relationships
• Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry and project identification through quotation, negotiation and order, working closely with the internal estimating and production teams
