Job summary

Get Staffed is seeking an Operations Controller for construction and refurbishment projects across London and the Home Counties. This senior role requires hands-on leadership on site, directing teams of subcontractors and employees to meet ambitious project standards and schedules.

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee logistics, planning and client engagement while maintaining health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is essential.
• Strong grounding in construction/site work.
• Proven experience in field operations or logistics at a national level.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Strong leadership and team-building ability with subcontractors and staff.
• Comfortable working with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to stay away from home and travel across the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage national field operations teams to ensure delivery of offloading and positioning services.
• Monitor KPIs and service standards to ensure SLAs and health & safety compliance.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and team performance.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers to support local teams and client satisfaction.
