National Events and Venue Hire Delivery Coordinator

Location: Flexible - Home or Office Based

Salary: From £26,409, depending on location / 36 hours per week / Permanent

We are looking for an Events & Venue Hire Coordinator to join our Events & Venue Hire Delivery Team. The role is full time and permanent. You'll be working within a national team, based in either London or the South East of England.

This is a great opportunity for you to play a key role in delivering a wide variety of events, activities, and venue hires at English Heritage sites. Working flexibly to support wherever you're needed, you'll ensure high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Whether taking the lead on delivery or supporting site teams, you will be a vital link between operational teams, central colleagues, and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, supporting and delivering exceptional events and venue hires across English Heritage's unique and inspiring locations.

As National Events & Venue Hire Delivery Coordinator, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver a variety of events and venue hires across the English Heritage portfolio of sites. You will work closely with site teams, the central visitor experience and engagement team, and the venue hire sales team to ensure seamless planning and execution of events and hires. Acting as the on-site point of contact during events and hires, you will ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.

You will also:

  1. Ensure all events and hires comply with health and safety legislation, licensing requirements, and English Heritage policies.
  2. Identify opportunities to enhance the events and venue hire programme, working in collaboration with the National Events and Venue Hire Delivery Manager, the Visitor Experience Creative Producer and Programmer and the Venue Hire Sales Team.

To be considered as a National Events & Venue Hire Delivery Coordinator, you'll need:

  1. Experience delivering events and venue hires in outdoor, heritage, or high-profile settings.
  2. Experience preparing event management plans and risk assessments.
  3. Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  4. Able to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  5. Full UK driving license.

Interviews will be held in the week commencing 19th May at the English Heritage offices located on Wood Street, London.
